Dualock Attachment System

Dualock is a snap attachment for removable implant overdentures. The abutments are available for many common implant systems with internal and external connections; according to the manufacturer, the system is fully compatible with Zest LOCATOR® – inserts, housings and tools are interchangeable.

DUALOCK

One system, many implants

The abutment is screwed into the implant, and the titanium housing with retention insert is processed into the denture. The manufacturer is Implantology Smart Innovation S.L.U. (Spain). The titanium nitride coating makes the surface hard and wear-resistant. In addition to the familiar nylon inserts, Dualock offers Retention Z inserts made of PEEK, which are dimensionally stable and easy to clean.

The inserts are pressed into the titanium housing and simply replaced when retention decreases.

Nylon inserts are available for implant divergences up to 20° and up to 40°. Data according to the manufacturer; 1 lb ≈ 0.45 kg.

How to order Dualock for your system

1. State implant system and platform or implant diameter.
2. Measure the gingival height at the highest point of the mucosa and choose the abutment height.
3. For tilted implants, choose the 15° abutment or inserts with large angle compensation.
