Replacement screws for existing restorations

If an existing abutment with crown needs a new screw, the screw must match the system of the abutment in place: GS (old) for older restorations, EbonyGold for current TS abutments. The image shows the difference.

CHOOSING CORRECTLY

Do not use lab screws in the patient's mouth. For replacement screws, always identify the system of the existing abutment – GS (old) and EbonyGold (new) are not interchangeable. Mini and regular are not interchangeable. More on platforms: Osstem Prosthetics · General selection guide: Prosthetics
