Dalbo®-PLUS Retention

The Dalbo®-PLUS matrix from Cendres+Métaux for ball anchors with Ø 2.25 mm. A titanium housing with a screw-in precious-metal lamella retention insert provides secure, finely adjustable retention for overdentures – even on older or worn ball heads.

Retention that can be readjusted

Divergences of non-parallel implants are compensated up to 40°. The flexible lamellae of the retention insert open when the denture is seated and slide gently over the ball. Retention can be increased or reduced in fine steps with the activator. When the insert is worn, it is simply unscrewed and replaced – the matrix stays in the denture.

ADJUSTING RETENTION

Activate or reduce retention

1. Remove and clean the denture.
2. Insert the activator into the lamella insert.
3. Turning clockwise increases retention – by about 200 g per quarter turn, up to approx. 2,200 g after one and a half turns at most.
4. Insert the denture, check retention and readjust if necessary.
