WHY PRE-MILLED

Custom shape, original fit

The most critical part of a custom abutment is the connection to the implant. With the pre-milled blank it is already made at the Osstem factory – the lab only mills the shape. Result: a one-piece titanium abutment without a bonding gap, with free emergence profile and axis correction, fitting as precisely as an original abutment.

THE WORKFLOW

To the titanium abutment in four steps

1 · Scan

Screw on the scan body, scan intraorally or on the model.

2 · Model

Print the model with the digital lab analog.

3 · Design & mill

Design in exocad or 3Shape, mill the pre-milled blank in the Medentika holder.

4 · Place

Finish and tighten with 1.2 mm hex: mini 20 Ncm, regular 30 Ncm.

STEP 1 · SCAN

Scan body & driver

Captures the implant position – intraorally or on the model. Mini yellow, regular green.
