INNO SUB. SHORT
The short version of the INNO system

The INNO SLA-SH Short extends the Cowellmedi INNO system with short implants of 6.0 mm coated length – 4 mm threaded body and 2 mm collar – plus a 1 mm polished edge at gingival level. Five diameters from Ø 4.0 to Ø 6.0 mm are available.

The short implants feature the SLA-SH surface treatment and an internal 11° conical connection with a 2.5 mm internal hex.

Why 4 mm – and yet 7 mm long? The 4 mm refer to the threaded body, i.e. the actual anchorage in the bone. To give the taper and hex enough depth for a stable abutment connection, the implant has a total length of 7 mm: 6 mm coated, of which 4 to 6 mm are in the bone depending on the available bone, plus a 1 mm polished edge.

DRILLING DEPTH ACCORDING TO AVAILABLE BONE
One implant – three insertion depths
The distance from the bone crest to the nerve canal differs from patient to patient. The INNO Short can therefore be inserted 4, 5 or 6 mm deep – with a safety distance of at least 2 mm to the nerve canal.
INNO Short: insertion depth 4, 5 and 6 mm with 2 mm distance to the nerve canal
PATIENT A
4.0 mm drilling depth
Nerve canal 6.0 mm below bone crest
2 mm collar + polished edge supracrestal
PATIENT B
5.0 mm drilling depth
Nerve canal 7.0 mm below bone crest
1 mm collar + polished edge supracrestal
PATIENT C
6.0 mm drilling depth
Nerve canal 8.0 mm below bone crest
fully in bone, polished edge at gingival level
INNO Short design: 4 mm threaded body + 2 mm collar with SLA-SH NH coating (6 mm) plus 1 mm polished edge · distance from implant apex to nerve canal 2.0 mm in each case · example Ø 4.5 mm, ref. no. 2ST4504S
