Pick-up impression copings for open-tray impressions at implant level on Neobiotech IS implants. The coping stays firmly in the impression material when it is removed and transfers the implant position precisely to the master model. With impression screw.

Precise transfer of the implant position

In the open-tray technique, the impression screw protrudes through a window in the custom or perforated tray. After setting, the screw is loosened and the coping is removed together with the impression – without repositioning. Proven especially with multiple and divergent implants and screw-retained bridges.

Impression screw ISPIS20 included. Fits all IS implants except S-Narrow (Ø 3.2). The diameter refers to the coping profile – choose to match the healing abutment.

WORKFLOW

Open-tray impression step by step

1. Remove the healing abutment, place the impression coping and tighten the impression screw hand-tight; check the seating radiographically if needed.
2. Perforate the tray above the screws or use a custom tray with window.
3. Take the impression with a rigid material (polyether or addition silicone), expose the screw heads.
4. After setting, loosen the screws, remove the impression with copings, reinsert the healing abutment.
5. In the lab, screw the lab analog onto the coping (narrow ISLA400, regular/wide ISLA500) and fabricate the model.

Neobiotech IS implants from Ø 4.0 mm have the same prosthetic platform as Cowellmedi INNO standard. This means you can also use the standard impression copings and lab analogs from the INNO range.
