Neobiotech Angled Abutment 15°

Angled abutments for Neobiotech IS implants. They compensate for an implant axis deviation of 15° so the crown sits in the correct axis. Positionable in twelve directions as type A and type B, plus a non-hex version for bridges. With abutment screw.

ANGLED ABUTMENT

When the implant is not in the crown axis

In the posterior region, in the atrophic jaw or with deliberately tilted implants, the implant axis often differs from the ideal crown axis. The angled abutment realigns the post by 15°, allowing a crown with correct axis and even layer thickness. The abutment can be prepared individually.

Where does the angle point?

With the two hex types, the angulation can be set in twelve directions – in 30° steps around the implant.

Which type fits depends on the hex orientation of the placed implant – best checked on the model with a lab analog.

WORKFLOW

From tilted implant to straight crown

1. Open-tray impression with Neobiotech impression copings or digitally with scan body.
2. On the model, choose type A, type B or non-hex with the best orientation, prepare if needed.
3. Remove the healing abutment, insert the abutment in the planned position and tighten to 30 Ncm.
4. Seal the screw channel, cement the crown and remove all excess cement.

From implant Ø 4.0 mm: INNO abutments too

Neobiotech IS implants from Ø 4.0 mm have the same prosthetic platform as Cowellmedi INNO standard. This gives you access to the INNO angled abutments with 15° and 25° as well.
